About Me
Hi, I’m Cristal, a UX designer based in NC who creates design solutions that help solve users' pain points and improve their user experience. I believe that each solution should be created with a user-centered mindset.
Through various college projects, I gained hands-on experience with tools like Figma for designing wireframes and prototypes and I’ve honed my skills in UX research methods to better understand user needs and behaviors.
Additionally, I have a solid understanding of HTML and CSS, which allows me to bridge the gap between design and development. Though I’m new to the professional field, I’m excited to bring my academic experience and skills to create impactful, user-friendly solutions.
Culture & Hobbies
Outside of work, I enjoy being in the kitchen and cooking savory or sweet dishes. It helps me relieve any stress I have at work and focus on executing a family recipe or inspiration from a cooking video from YouTube.
I also love assembling LEGO botanical collection sets. I’m always looking for the next release and want to purchase it immediately. It feels satisfying after I complete each set. As you can tell from the pictures, the results are worth it.
I enjoy visiting El Salvador, the country where both of my parents are originally from. I love to eat their food, like authentic pupusas with curtido and salsa. I like to travel to places with amazing views and share moments with my family.
